Against all odds, Katniss Everdeen has won the annual Hunger Games with fellow district tribute Peeta Mellark. But it was a victory won by defiance of the Capitol and their harsh rules. Katniss and Peeta should be happy. After all, they have just won for themselves and their families a life of safety and plenty. But there are rumors of rebellion among the subjects, and Katniss and Peeta, to their horror, are the faces of that rebellion. The Capitol is angry. The Capitol wants revenge.
Wow, what an amazing sequel to a truly fantastic series! This was another book that I could not hardly put down! I love the premise of these books and the fact that Katniss is so rebellious makes for some interesting twists and turns in
Catching Fire. I wish that I could say more about this book but I am afraid I will reveal too much if I say much more! I will say that I loved the major twist at the end of the book and I cannot wait to see what happens in book three. Unfortunately, I have to wait at least another 10 months before it comes out!
**Again, if anyone wishes to discuss spoilers in the comments, that would be great!**
